What is the potential market for my book?

Will my book be available internationally?

Yes, absolutely. Your book will be available in all countries where Amazon has a presence, including the UK, Europe, and the USA, which boasts the largest number of Kindle owners.

Do you publish all manuscripts submitted to you?

Not necessarily. While we do not judge or censor your work, we primarily publish manuscripts of fiction and non-fiction. We will initially assess your manuscript using Microsoft Word's spell check on the first three pages, and then decide whether to accept it for publication. If it passes the spell check, we will accept it. However, the spell check will not identify deeper issues that may arise during a professional proofreading and editing process.

We do not accept reference books, instruction manuals, or books containing numerous diagrams, tables, or images. Please do not submit your manuscript if it includes any of those mentioned above.

Does my book need an ISBN?

It is not necessary to buy an ISBN because Amazon will provide a free ISBN for the book itself.

How long does it take to publish my book to Amazon’s Kindle?

Unless unforeseen problems arise, we can publish a book in approximately four weeks.

Is there a page length requirement for my book?

Standard black-and-white or premium colour paperbacks require at least 24 pages, standard colour paperbacks require 72 pages, and hardcovers require 75 pages. 

How do you set the price of my book?

The book price is set by you, the author.

As Kindle is owned by Amazon.com, a US company, the retail price is initially set in US Dollars and then automatically converted to the local currency of the country where it is sold. Thus, in the UK, it will appear for sale in British Pounds, while in Europe, it will be in Euros. One thing to keep in mind is that eBooks are typically priced lower than conventional printed books. We generally adhere to conventional 'industry standard' prices for various types of books. Another advantage of self-publishing on Amazon is that the price of your book can be adjusted quickly at any time based on sales performance.

How do I get paid for book sales?

Since 27.10.17, Amazon KDP has stopped sending cheques. Authors can opt for payment via direct bank transfer, and they can set their bank details at any time after publication within their 'My Account' section.

How is my book marketed?

We provide limited promotion of your book on our own website for two weeks, which includes a direct link to your Amazon sales page. We are not a marketing or promotions company and do not oversee further promotion of your book after that two-week period. We encourage our clients to self-promote their books through social media and other promotional sites we provide details for. While Amazon does have dedicated marketing tools to publicise and promote your book to millions of readers, this service comes at a cost, and we advise our clients to explore additional promotional avenues.

What happens after my book is published?

Your Amazon Kindle sign-in grants you access to your account, where you will have full control. You can check sales at your convenience, and if you wish to amend certain aspects of your book, you can do so. However, after publication, you can only change the manuscript, the cover, and the book price. Nothing else can be amended.
